This wheel adsorption dehumidifier utilizes a high-quality silica gel desiccant rotor from Sweden Proflute. The system operates through a continuous rotation process where moist process air passes through the desiccant wheel, transferring moisture to the silica gel material. The wheel then rotates into a heated reactivation air stream that removes the absorbed moisture, allowing continuous dehumidification operation.
The desiccant wheel rotates slowly (6-10 revolutions per hour) between two separate air streams. The larger process air stream releases moisture to the desiccant material, while the smaller heated reactivation air stream removes the accumulated moisture from the wheel, ensuring consistent dehumidification performance.
