Technology Overview
This industrial air dehumidifier removes moisture from air using a desiccant material that attracts and holds water vapor. The desiccant is impregnated into a corrugated ceramic composite material formed into a rotating wheel. The wheel rotates slowly (6-10 rph) between two air streams, with the process air giving off moisture to the desiccant and reactivation air warming the desiccant to release moisture.
