Working principle

The working principle of activated carbon V-type filter is based on the physical adsorption and chemical adsorption capacity of activated carbon:

Physical adsorption: Activated carbon has a highly developed microporous structure and large specific surface area, which can adsorb organic matter and inorganic matter in the air.

Chemical adsorption: The oxygen-containing functional groups (such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, etc.) on the surface of activated carbon can chemically react with pollutants to further improve the adsorption efficiency.

When the air passes through the V-type filter, the odors, harmful gases and pollutants in it are adsorbed by activated carbon, thus achieving air purification.

What harmful gases can activated carbon V-type filter remove?

  • Organic compounds

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) : such as benzene, toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate, etc. These gases are often present in chemical, pharmaceutical, printing and other industries, as well as furniture, decoration materials and other odors released.
