BR-T Thermal Protector Applications

BR-T series thermal protectors are featured for small size, sensitiveness, perfect air-tightness performance, accuracy. It is mainly used for fractional 0.5hp motor or less, transformers, rectifiers, battery packs, and other household appliances.

BR-T Thermal Protector Structure

BR series thermal protector is a temperature automatic response device and is temperature, current double protective equipment as well. When the heat generated by the increasing temperature from the protected appliances transmits to double metal element, and reaching the temperature value of scheduled movement, the double-metal element will move immediately so that the contact will be switched off and the circuit will be cut off. When the temperature decreases to the rated temperature value of reposition, bimetal element will return to its initial state, the moving contact will be closed and the circuit will be on.
