Magnesia Chrome Brick Intorduction Magnesia-chrome bricks are basic refractory materials primarily composed of magnesium oxide (MgO) and chromium trioxide (Cr₂O₃). They are typically made from high-purity sintered magnesia and chrome ore, mixed in a specific ratio, formed under high pressure, and fired at temperatures between 1500°C and 1800°C. Magnesia-chrome bricks offer both high refractoriness and excellent resistance to thermal shock and slag erosion.
