Refractory steel fiber castable has good structure stability and gas tightness, physical and chemical property, and also the great construction property. Steel fiber castable as a kind of high strength castable refractory is made of high alumina clinker or brown aluminium oxide as the aggregate and powder, and added binding agent and suitable heat resistance stainless steel fibre and admixture.

Manufacturing Process of Steel Fiber Castable
- First select suitable refractory materials according to the steel fiber casting materials to be prepared, and strictly control the quality of the casting materials.
- Prepare aggregate, powder, additive, binder and steel fiber in proportion to the formula, and control the size and grading of aggregate, powder particles and steel fiber.
- Mix the aggregate and powder separately, and then mix. After mixing, add steel fiber of about 20-35mm in length for stirring and mixing for about 10 minutes.
- The stirred dry materials shall be packaged with adhesive and additive seal for storage. Waterproof and moisture-proof measures shall be taken when stored to avoid agglomeration
Classification of Steel Fiber Castable
Steel fiber refractory castable can be classified into two types of stainless fiber castable refractory and nickeled stainless fiber reinforced refractory castable. Of which, nickeled stainless fiber reinforced refractory castable has better high temperature resistance property and resistance to rubbing.
