Roschen Triple Tube Core Barrels are engineered to deliver maximum core recovery in site investigation and exploratory drilling operations. These specialized tools enable near 100% volumetric core recovery while maintaining samples in their most undisturbed condition possible using rotary core drilling equipment.
Applications and Benefits
Triple Tube Core Barrels have been extensively used for exploration of dam, bridge, and building sites, as well as mineral resource development. The system features stainless steel split inner tubes and optional clear plastic tubing in NMLC sizes for preserving core samples exactly as recovered from the borehole.

Setup and Operation Guidelines
- Unscrew water end from outer tube and withdraw holding tube assembly
- Apply grease through bearing housing using grease nipple
- Reassemble ensuring all threads are tight to prevent water leakage
- Adjust clearance between core lifter adaptor case and bit shoulder
- Medium to hard formations: 1.5m clearance
- Soft and friable formations: 1.0m clearance
- Use spacer washers between bearing housing and holding tube for adjustment
