Plastic Basket Retainer
Split Spoon Samplers are ideal for surface sampling or sampling at various depths. Split spoon samplers split apart along the length of the tube to allow a for a true cross section evaluation and gentle sample removal.
Plastic Basket Retainer
Installed in the end of a standard or tab sampler to insure the soil sample does not slide out of the sampler as it is being withdrawn from the hole. For use in either the standard heavy duty or tab type samplers.
Core Catcher Retainer Basket
Retainer Baskets Used in conjunction with retainer basket bits, retainer baskets can be used to improve sample recovery in loose formations. Retainer Baskets Roschen retainer baskets are available in soft, medium, and hard plastic. Retainer baskets have flexible fingers that open to allow the soil into the side of core barrels, or Split Spoon Samplers, and the soils without leaking out of Split Spoon Samplers or core barrel. Particularly suitable for sandstone layers, broken rock formations, loose cores that cannot be completely corrugated, or soft formations. Collection, or coring is greatly improved.
