17 1/2 Inch Tci Tricone Bit Parameters

TCI Tricone Bit Advantage

1. The strength and wear resistance of inserts are improve by using carbide inserts with high strength and high wear resistance.

2. Surface of the high precision bearing heat treated by using advanced heat treatment process to improve the load capacity and service life of the bearing.

3. The service life of the bearing is further extended by adopting harder and mort wear resistant material for thrust bearing.

4. Preventing reflux structure has dual function, it can avoid air counter flow and dust entering into bearing when the air-compressor stop working accidentally, and separate air and water in order to avoid water entering into bearing when it works normally to prolong the life of bearing.

5. This series TCI Tricone Bit use Sealed roller bearing structure. With rollers arranged in grooves recessed in the cone body, the size of the bearing journal is increased.

6. Thrust bearing surfaces are hard faced and treated with friction reducing technology.

7. This series oil well rock bit use Journal bearing. Hard faced head bearing surface. Cone bearing inlaid with friction reducing alloy and then silver-plated. The load capacity and seizure resistance of the bearing is greatly improved.

TCI Tricone Bit features

1. The wear-resistance of teeth is enhanced with premium tungsten carbide hard facing on the tooth surfaces for steel tooth bit.
2. High precision roller bearing with two thrust faces. Ball lock the cone. Thrust faces hard-face with wear resistant alloy. Abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the bearing are improved.
3. Multiple gauge protection with gauge trimmers on the heel and gauge inserts on the gauge surface of the cone, tungsten carbide inserts and hard-facing on the shirttail increases gauge holding capability and bearing life.

Tricone bits , hole openers can be used to explore /drill gas/oil/geothermal/water wells. 3 7/8”~26” are available for Tricone bits. 4 1/2”~17 1/2” are available for Diamond PDC bits.
