S355J2 is carbon manganese, high yield non alloy steel. It is called S355 because of the average minimum yield for this material is 355 Mpa.
S355J2 1.0577 Carbon Steel Rod has excellent strength and weldability. It can be easily welded to other weldable steel.
Due to its low carbon equivalent EN 10250 S355j2 Structural Steel Square Bar it provides good cold-forming properties and it is generally supplied in a normalized condition.
S355J2 Round Bar is often used for application which requires better mechanical properties than that of S275 grade. It is commonly supplied in as rolled condition and it is widely used in the construction, manufacturing and offshore industries.
S355J2 square bar can be supplied with a variety of treatments and test options to ensure that it is a highly usable steel in your various projects.
S355J2+N round bar have the properties to adopt brittle layer over its top and thus it can easily resist temperature attack. Thus it has higher temperature resistance and higher heat resistance.
According toEN10025:1990, S355J2G3 round bar is a non-alloy structural steel. This standard has now been replaced by EN10025-2:2004 and steels with the S355J2G3 designation are now known as S355J2.
EN 10277 S355J2G3 Hex Bar is carbon manganese steel. It is characterized by its excellent weldability and strength.
