2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Plate offers exceptional corrosion resistance with yield strength approximately twice that of austenitic stainless steels. Available in thicknesses from 3/16" to 3", this alloy provides superior performance in demanding industrial applications.

Hot Forming: Recommended below 600°F. For hot forming, work in 1750-2250°F range followed by solution anneal at 1900°F minimum with rapid quench.
Cold Forming: Requires higher forces than austenitic steels due to rapid work hardening. Allow for springback in design.
Heat Treatment: Anneal at 1900°F minimum with rapid cooling. Avoid stress relief at lower temperatures.
