Ferritic and Martensitic Stainless Steel Tubes: The most used Duplex Stainless Steel are the 2205 ( UNS S31803, 00Cr22Ni5Mo3N ) (22% Chromium, 5% Nickel) and 2507 ( UNS S32750, 00Cr25Ni7Mo4N ) (25% Chromium, 7% Nickel); the 2507 is also known as "SuperDuplex" due to its higher corrosion resistance. And UNS S32304(00Cr23Ni4N 2304) is also in Magvant's product programme. Stainless steel tube with material Austenitic-ferritic stainless steels or duplex steels have been in increasing use because their excellent mechanical qualities, good weldability and their high corrosion resistance. Their excellent resistance to corrosion enables them to withstand a chloride medium, particularly under mechanical stress. They are characterised by high chromium (19–28%) and molybdenum (up to 5%) and lower nickel contents than austenitic stainless steels.
