Material Composition & Properties
Second-generation duplex stainless steel with ultra-low carbon content and nitrogen addition (22% Cr + 5% Ni + 0.17% N). Nitrogen enhances stress corrosion and pitting corrosion resistance in chloride-rich acidic environments while maintaining strength and ductility.
Dual-Phase Advantages
- Ferritic phase: High thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, excellent pitting and crevice corrosion resistance
- Austenitic phase: Superior toughness, low brittle transition temperature, good weldability and intergranular corrosion resistance
