Corrosion Resistance
Hastelloy C276 is suitable for chemical process industries containing both oxidizing and reducing media. High molybdenum and chromium content provides chloride corrosion resistance, while tungsten enhances overall corrosion performance. This alloy is one of few materials capable of resisting corrosion from chlorine, hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, and high concentration chlorates.
