The duplex microstructure combines ferrite and austenite properties, providing excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. With 21% chromium, 2.5% nitrogen, and 4.5% molybdenum nickel alloy composition, this material offers double the yield strength of austenitic stainless steels, making it superior to 316 and 317L grades.
