Description:
The WJG stair screen is installed in a wide variety of applications from water intake to various municipal and industrial wastewater applications. This screen is designed to handle high flows with low headloss and for placement in deep channels with high water levels.
The screening component is a continuous belt of individual, perforated media plates formed into V-shaped panels. Each panel is independently attached to the chain and is replaceable from the top of the channel.
The large amount of screen surface area on each panel promotes high capture rate and the ability to build a solids mat that attracts finer solids.
Stainless steel side seal plates prevent bypass. A UHMW seal between the chain and the side frame provides another level of by pass protection.
