Product Description
Nickel has high chemical stability and excellent corrosion resistance in many media. With a standard electrode potential of -0.25V, it is more positive than iron and more negative than copper. Nickel demonstrates superior corrosion resistance in dilute non-oxidizing acids (such as HCU, H2SO4), particularly in neutral and alkaline solutions, due to its passivation ability that forms a dense protective surface film preventing further oxidation.
