K Type Bare Wire High Oxidation Resistance 10-38 Swg Thermocouple Extension
Shanghai Tankii Alloy Material Co., Ltd. offers Tankii 10~38 SWG K type thermocouple element bare wire. This NiCr-Ni/NiAl (Type K) thermocouple wire is widely used in basemetal thermocouples, especially at temperatures above 500°C. It boasts strong resistance to oxidation compared to other base metal thermocouples, providing high EMF against Platinum 67, excellent temperature accuracy, sensitivity, and stability, all at a low cost.
Recommended for oxidizing or inert atmospheres, this thermocouple wire should not be used in alternatively oxidizing and reducing atmospheres, atmospheres with *** gases, long periods in a vacuum, or low oxidizing atmospheres like hydrogen and carbon monoxide.
NiCr-NiAl thermocouple wire can be customized to meet customers' specific chemical composition requirements. It is available with insulation materials such as PVC, PTFE, FB, or as per customer specifications.

For high-quality thermocouples for various industrial applications, trust Shanghai Tankii Alloy Material Co., Ltd. to provide reliable and accurate temperature measurements.
- Type K: Most commonly used with operating range from -200°C to +1260°C. Offers better oxidation resistance (except vs Type N). Not recommended for sulphurous atmospheres without protection.
- Type N: Provides longer life, better high temperature exposure, and improved EMF drift reliability.
- Type E: Highest EMF output per degree among standard thermocouples.
- Type J: Cost-effective with high EMF output. Suitable for oxidizing conditions up to 760°C.
- Type T: Suitable for oxidizing, reducing inert atmosphere or vacuum applications.
