Ni80Cr20 (8020 nickel-chromium alloy) is a high-resistance electrothermal alloy with excellent performance. Due to its outstanding high-temperature stability and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in the manufacture of various heating elements.
Ultra-thin nichrome wire of 0.025 mm (25 micrometers) is typically used when you need an extremely small, fast-responding resistive element—because thinner wire has higher resistance per unit length and low thermal mass (heats/cools very quickly).
