Type J Thermocouple Bare Wire 1.2mm 3.2mm 4.0mm for Mineral Insulated Cable with 1402°C Melting Point
Available in 1.2mm, 3.2mm, and 4.0mm diameters, this Type J thermocouple bare wire is specifically designed for mineral insulated cable applications. The J Type (Iron vs Constantan) configuration is suitable for use in vacuum, oxidizing, inert, or reducing atmospheres.
Note: Iron element oxidizes rapidly at temperatures exceeding 538°C. Heavier gauge wire is recommended for extended service life at elevated temperatures.
