Commercial pure nickel and low alloy nickel offer exceptional performance characteristics for chemical processing, electronics, and industrial applications. These materials provide superior resistance to reducing chemicals and are particularly effective with caustic soda environments.
Key Material Properties
Nickel 200 (N02200) pure nickel alloy delivers excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The material features high thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content, minimal vapor pressure, and maintains good magnetostrictive performance with a high Curie temperature.

Mechanical Properties & Temperature Ratings
Nickel 200 maintains good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures but is typically restricted to service below 600°F (315°C) due to graphitization concerns at higher temperatures. For applications above 315°C, Nickel 201 is recommended. Both alloys are ASME boiler and pressure vessel code approved, with Nickel 200 rated to 600°F (315°C) and Nickel 201 approved for service up to 1250°F (677°C).
