AWS A5.7 /ERCuAl-A1/Cu6100 (Alum Bronze A1) Filler Metal Used For MIG And TIG Overlaying
Aluminum Bronze, ERCuAl-A1, Cu6100, Perfect for welding of pure and austenitic steel sheet. Maintains good temperament flow and creates seamless welding line. Suggested for the butt joining welding of copper with steel, particularly suitable for machinery and shipbuilding industry. Pulsed argon arc welding is recommended for multilayer hard facing on steel.
ERCuAl-A1 is a moderate-strength aluminum bronze alloy predominantly used for weld overlay and metallizing in automotive and other manufacturing applications and for the build-up and repair of bearing and corrosion-resistant surfaces. It is not intended for use in joining.
