Description: 

Wedge Tension clamp is designed for supporting insulated aerial bundle cable of the LV distribution system at terminal section and at acute angle poles. The wedge can be self-adjusting and the aerial cable are led alongside the clamp. The self opening is featured by an integrate spring facilities for easily insert the cable into the clamp. The whole assembly has no loose parts and it does not require special tool to install it. The clamp standard is NFC 33-042.

Clamp Structure

• An open body
• Wedge consisting of two insulating plastics (inserts) ensuring the clamping of the messenger cable without damaging cable insulation.
• An unloosable stainless steel flexible wire rope equipped with a movable thimble and two sleeves compressed at the end of the wire rope to be locked at the clamp body.

Clamp material

The body, wedge and thimble of the clamps are made of high strength reinforced thermoplastic, UV radiant material which was very high mechanical and climatic properties.The pull hook is made from stainless steel.
