The SFP transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting data-rate of 2.5Gbps and 40km transmission distance with SMF.
The transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472. For further information, please refer to SFP MSA and SFF-8472.

The SFP Module Full Form consists of three sections: a VCSEL laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements. The gold-plated contacts on the surface of the gold fingers are thickened to enhance conductivity and allow for repeated insertion and removal. It can be used together with SC patch cords for termination connection.
