Railway Fastening System / Railroad Fist Clip Fist Spring Clip
The Fist rail fastening system originated in Sweden and is used extensively in the Southern African surface railroads with major installations in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland and Namibia. The system has also been used in South America and Australia.
The largest project executed in the Southern African region on Fist was the Orex (Sishen-Saldanha) heavy haul line, which is 810km in length.
All these components are manufactured in-house at our Isando works to BS EN ISO 9001: quality standards.
One set of Fist system comprises of:
A) Fist Clip / Fist spring steel clip / Railway Fist clip ; -2 units;
B) Rail pad / Fist Base Plate ; -2 units;
C) Insulated retaining pin / Insulated Steel Pin / Insulated Pin -2 units;
