Bent anchor bolts (or 90 degree anchor bolts) are commonly used in the construction and engineering industries to attach objects or structures to concrete. Common applications include anchoring structural columns, light poles, bridge rails, and signage. Bent, or L-Shaped, Anchor Bolts (masonry anchors) vary in shape, size and material, depending on the specific application, however they all consist of a threaded end where a nut and washer can be attached for the external load. The bent portion of the bolt provides resistance so that the bolt is not pulled from the concrete when force is applied.
