1. Measure distance between studs
2. Cut measured ruler mark after sizing
3. Screw parts together securely
4. Install boxes (4" or 4-11/16" square)

1. Install bar hangers on ceiling joists or wall studs using screws
2. Remove screw from stud on bar hanger, install in 1/2" knockouts on box bottom
3. All bar hangers install with metallic boxes on wall studs or ceiling joists
