1.Product Description
API 5L carbon steel pipe is manufactured to API Specification 5L, Line Pipe, for onshore and offshore transmission of oil, gas, and water. Steel grades include Grade B, X42, X52, X60, X65, X70, and X80, where the figure after X indicates minimum yield strength in ksi. Processes cover seamless (SMLS), LSAW, SSAW, ERW, and EFW. Quality levels are PSL1 and PSL2, with PSL2 imposing stricter toughness, chemical, and NDT requirements for high-pressure, sour, and low-temperature services. OD ranges from 10.3mm to 2032mm; wall thickness and length are customized per project.
