The Butt Weld Seamless Stainless Steel Stub Ends are manufactured from seamless stainless steel pipe, providing uniform wall thickness and consistent mechanical properties around the entire circumference. Designed to ASME B16.9, these lap joint stub ends create strong, leak-free connections when butt welded to the pipeline and paired with lap joint flanges.
Because the fitting is formed from a single seamless tube, there is no longitudinal weld seam to become a weak point under cyclic loading or high temperature service.
