Materials for air conditioning hose:
 

Inside tube: nylon, PA

Middle tube: EPDM

Reinforcement layer: Single fiber braided.

Outer tube: EPDM with black and smooth cover.

Capabilities of EPDM material: Heat resistant, corrosion resistant, anti-aging etc.

We use good EPDM material, no recycled rubber, flexible, durable, the synthetic rubber content for this hose is up to 40%, which is high in the range of rubber hoses.

Role of reinforcement layer: braided fiber is related to hose pressure. With fiber braided, the working pressure and burst pressure will be higer than hose without fiber braided.

Characteristics of hose cover: 

1. it is mill finish and shining, since a layer of PVC is added when making the cover, then  we will do some vulcanization for the cover and remove the PVC layer finally.

Production skill of A/C hose:

When making Air conditioning hose, mandrel process is used here. That means there will be a mandel when making inner tube in order to make the inner diameter sizes more precise.

Black is the standard color for air conditioning hose, and it is the most popular color in the markets.
