Character of PTFE
The PTFE hose material is made of Japanese Daikin.
The temperature range is -200C to +260C, melting point: 327C. It can't be injection molded and can be pressed and formed. The max. operating temperature is 280C.
PTFE has the following excellent properties due to its strong carbon-fluorine bond and high molecular weight:
1. Excellent weather resistance, long service life, no brittle fracture, and no aging.
2. Resistant to strong acid and alkali, resistant to various corrosive chemicals.
3. Anti-adhesive, anti-moisture and ultraviolet, non-toxic.
4. With a very low friction coefficient. non-flammable.
5. With a very low evaporate transpiration rate, the cold liquid is not volatile.
6. With excellent electrical characteristics (does not change with frequency and temperature changes)
7. Excellent mechanical properties, shock resistance, and flexibility.

PTFE tube characteristics:

1. Adhesion resistance:

PTFE material, it is difficult to make viscous substances adhere to its surface, even if the adhesion can also be easily removed.

Purpose: PTFE hose is widely used in gelatin, pectin, and other high viscosity colloid transportation.

2. Heat resistance:

The PTFE hose has excellent heat resistance that other hose does not have, and it can resist extremely low temperatures.

Continuous use temperature range: - 70 ℃ ~ + 260 ℃ (PTFE)

Purpose: PTFE hose is used for coolant transportation of automobile engines and other machinery (the service temperature is below - 45 ℃).

3. Corrosion resistance:

PTFE material is very inactive to almost all chemicals or solvents, so it has corrosion resistance. It has an excellent effect in the application of chemical drug delivery.

Purpose: PTFE hose is used for conveying corrosive fluid (liquid bromine, formaldehyde, chromic acid, etc.) in the chemical production line.

4. Water and oil resistance:

PTFE material is not easy to be soaked in almost all liquids, including water and oil. It can be used for antifouling and keeping clean.

Purpose: PTFE coating is often used for surface protection of analytical instrument components, raw material recovery tanks, and other components.

5. Wear resistance:

PTFE material shows excellent wear resistance in bearing heavy load sliding. If combined with electroplating or anodizing film, the hardness and wear resistance can be improved at the same time.

Uses: shaft, large water purifier piston, automobile exhaust parts, wood circular saw, building shock absorber, elevator side plate, lubricating and wear-resistant workpieces, etc.
