Commercial acoustic partition wall structural details and components
Structural Design
The operable wall system features aluminum profiles, treated particleboard or MDF sheets, and insulation materials. This combination creates panels with total thickness of 85mm and provides soundproof resistance of 40-49 dB.
For ceiling-supported installations, the system runs along an adjustable aluminum upper track with bearing-equipped carriages, allowing 15mm height adjustment. Each carriage is installed on every second panel at the center point.
For floor-supported configurations, an aluminum track is installed on the floor for carriage movement, with a guiding track at the top. Height adjustment of 15mm is maintained.
Jamb profiles are installed at wall ends to seal the final panel and can function as doors. This system allows for 20mm width adjustment capability.

Operation & Installation
The folding wall system operates smoothly along adjustable aluminum tracks with precision bearings. Height adjustment of 15mm ensures proper fit and alignment.
Installation requires attachment to solid structural elements such as concrete ceilings, steel structures, or wood beams for optimal performance and safety.
