Feature of carbide waterjet nozzle
Tungsten carbide waterjet style nozzles is made of special tungsten carbide. For ordinary tungsten carbide products, the material are made of WC+ cobalt or other bond metal.
However the waterjet is including only WC, no cobalt or other bond metal.
It was made of pure tungsten carbide(WC),partical size is only 0.15um. And it was sintered under the super high temperature of 2000 degree meanwhile keep the press at 35-65MPa.
That why our Carbide waterjet abrasice nozzle has good performance.
When the waterjet Abrasive nozzle working, it water pressure can be as higher as 250MPa to 400MPa. and the water velocity can be 800m/s to 1000m/s.
this situation need the waterjet nozzle has super abrasive, our EJ Carbide brand waterjet had hardness over HRA97. and it can bear the pressure 1000MPa.
Our waterjet nozzle working life can be 100 hours or more.
