2. Cut to length line Work Process:
The "sheet cut to length" (CTL) line is a specialized processing system used to cut large rolls or sheets of material into precise lengths. Here’s a general overview of how the process typically works:
Material Feeding:
The material, often in the form of coils or rolls, is fed into the CTL line. This can be metal, plastic, or paper, depending on the industry.
Unwinding:
The coil is unwound using a decoiler. This process straightens the material as it comes off the roll to ensure it’s ready for accurate cutting.
Leveling:
The material is passed through a leveling system. This step involves flattening the material to remove any coils' curvature or defects, ensuring a smooth and even sheet.
Measuring:
The material is then measured to ensure it meets the exact length requirements. Advanced systems use electronic controls to measure the length accurately.
Cutting:
Once the material reaches the desired length, it’s cut using a shear or a rotary blade. The cutting mechanism is usually controlled by computerized systems to ensure precision.
3. Cut to length line machine description
The Cut-To-Length Line including uncoil to support the coil material, levelling it, and then cut it to the required length and stack it.
The end product produced by a Cut-To-Length Line is a flat sheet of material cut to a very precise length tolerance.
