DESIGN

1.Standard:Poles are designed according to “ Standard Specifications for Structural Supports for Highway Signs, Luminaries and Traffic Signals “ .

2.Design Wind:Design wind speed is 35m/s or as per the customer request multiplied by safety factor of 1.0-1.8 (Gust speed is 126 Km/ hr or as specified in the project specifications)

3.Design computer software:Design of poles is performed utilizing Computer software to analyse the pole shaft, base plate and anchor bolts.

FINISHING

Shaft, Base plate, Arm Bracket and other accessories are hot dip galvanized according to BS EN 1461 and its recent revisions, the minimum average coating thickness is according to BS EN 1461, or as per the customer requirements, but not more than 70 microns average.

No welding, cutting or drilling is done after galvanizing.

The anchor bolts including nuts and washers are rough black or hot dip galvanised according to ASTM A 123 as per customized requirement.
