Matte finish carbon fiber sheets are sheets or panels made from carbon fiber composite materials that have a matte, non-reflective surface. The carbon fiber sheet is semi-flexible, yet remains stiff like cardstock. It can bend in only one direction at a time making it suitable for either flat surfaces or pipes. Once cured, these sheets cannot be re-shaped. Therefore they will not lie flat on compound curves, convex, or concave surfaces. One side features our recognized high gloss finish while available options for the opposite side include a high gloss, matte, or adhesive-backed finish.

Our proprietary Autoclave curing process produces the most consistent and highest-quality gloss carbon fiber sheets possible. Manufactured using 100% real carbon fiber fabric pre-impregnated with high-quality epoxy resin, these sheets are cured at high temperatures and pressure to ensure a strong, rigid product that cannot be re-shaped after being cured. Unlike a wet layup, our Autoclave curing process consistently yields flat, lightweight sheets with minimal voids, waves, or buildups.

A matte finish on carbon fiber sheets has several advantages:
