Our range of flexible sheet products can be used to add carbon fibre style or protection to an existing material or surface. Products in this range include genuine carbon fibre veneer which is flexible only because of its 0.25mm thickness, flexible carbon fibre sheet made using PVC rubber and carbon fibre effect vinyl wrap which can be used to add a carbon fibre appearance to just about any surface.

This flexible, extra-thin Carbon Fibre Veneer has a high gloss finish on one side and is available with or without a 3M self-adhesive backing. It is suitable for a range of applications where the appearance of genuine carbon fibre is required in a form that can be bonded to the surface of other materials to create an attractive, high-gloss veneer surface.

The veneer is designed to have a minimal variation in thickness so it will sit very flat making it perfect for bonding to other materials. Easy to cut and shape, it is ideal for use in furniture making, architectural detailing or adding a woven carbon fibre appearance to just about any flat surface.

Being 0.25mm thin, the veneer can easily follow single-plane curves (such as the radiused edge of a desk) but, as with most carbon surfaces, it will eventually break if bent too far.

What is the difference between sheets of carbon fiber and a carbon fiber plate?

Both terms can apply to carbon fiber. The term "sheet" implies a thin light material like a sheet of paper, whereas "plate" implies a heavy thick material like a 3/4-inch steel plate. We feel that the word "sheet" is more appropriate for carbon fiber because carbon fiber is typically lightweight and is typically used in thin sections due to its tremendous strength. On the other hand, we produce 1 ½ in carbon fiber that would definitely be considered plate. Both terms appear on our website because people will use them interchangeably.
