Corrosion Resistance Ultra Lightweight Carbon Fiber Tube 20x19x1000mm
Corrosion Resistance Ultra Lightweight Carbon Fiber Tube 20x19x1000mm
Product Description
Ultra lightweight carbon fibre tubes with a “twill” fabric top layer and a UV protective high gloss coating. A wall thickness of 0.5mm characterizes this product. It is very suitable for super lightweight construction with good stiffness and reasonable strength. The fibre volume content is approximately 65% and the fibre orientation is 50°-50°. The product length is 1000mm with a diameter tolerance of about 0.2 mm.
Applications
These ultra-lightweight tubes can be used in UAVs, drones, precision robotics, measuring equipment, laboratories and model making, or other applications where multiple advantages are needed such as low weight, chemical resistance and temperature stability.
Features
- Low weight-to-strength ratio: These tubes are extremely light but very strong, making them ideal for applications where both weight savings and durability are critical.
- High stiffness: Carbon fiber's stiffness makes these tubes ideal for applications requiring structural rigidity.
- Corrosion resistance: Carbon fiber is highly resistant to corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor and marine applications.
- Applications: They are widely used in aerospace, drones, automotive, sports equipment, and robotics due to their excellent mechanical properties.
What are carbon fiber tubes used for?
Carbon fiber tubes are used in a wide range of applications, including tactical ladders, systems, rods, and beams. Carbon fiber provides low weight, and better mechanical properties over conventional materials like aluminum, and steel.
Are carbon fiber tubes strong?
Carbon fiber tubes are used in numerous applications like tactical ladders, trusses, beams, and more. Carbon fiber is typically chosen over traditional materials such as aluminum, steel, and titanium because of the following properties: High strength and stiffness to weight.
Do carbon fiber tubes bend?
Our carbon fiber tubing is built using a thermoset epoxy resin. This means that once cured the epoxy never returns to a liquid state. If you tried to bend our tubing it would break with enough applied force but it will not bend. Carbon fiber/epoxy composite is very stiff!
