Higher Impact Strength Lightweight Frames 20x18x1000mm Twill Fabric Carbon Fiber Tube

The strong ‘High Impact’ Carbon Fiber tube has a “twill” fabric top layer consisting of a carbon-kevlar fabric and finished with a UV protective high-gloss coating. The material composition of carbon fiber is aimed at offering a higher impact strength than the high-performance and high-precision tubes. Available in lengths of 1000mm (2000mm on request). The outside diameter has a tolerance of +/- 0,2mm.

Temperature resistance of up to 180°C.
The fiber balance is bidirectional (50°-50°).

We label our products as industrial-grade quality. They are designed with a focus on mechanical performance, not on aesthetic appearance or visual-grade quality. Small pinholes or irregularities in the twill weave (pattern) can occur, which are a result of the production process and the manual finishing of the products.

Applications

This type of tube can be used for lightweight frames in mechanical engineering and drones, but also for fencing and frame applications in the off-shore and chemical industry or anywhere where a ‘vandal-proof’ solution is required for impact strength applications.”

We also offer special adhesives and accessories for properly bonding carbon to carbon or metal.
• Assembly of Interfaces & Inserts: In addition to various automated operations, we also provide complete gluing and assembly of frames and inserts for industrial customers. From prototyping to a series of 100+ pieces.
