Roll-wrapped carbon fiber tube is made by roll swapping process, carbon fiber prepregs layers are wrapped around a mandrel and onto the wrapping machine, it will be automatically wrapped as a tube, then wrapped with a thin plastic film, after the part has cured, the mandrel is extracted and the plastic film is removed.

The sizes of roll-wrapped carbon fiber tubes can vary greatly, from small-diameter tubes to larger ones used in industrial applications. The length of the tube is typically limited by the size of the mandrel used in the manufacturing process.
