UV-Resistant Pultruded Carbon Fiber Tube 5mm(OD) * 3mm (ID)* 1000mm
UV-Resistant Pultruded Carbon Fiber Tube 5mm(OD) * 3mm (ID)* 1000mm
Pultruded carbon fiber round tube(Hollow) manufactured from 100% unidirectional carbon fiber, which gives them excellent strength along their length but does make them vulnerable to crushing forces. Pultruded tubes are ideal for scale aircraft, gliders, helicopters, or any construction that requires strength, rigidity, and lightness. The Pultrusion process allows incredibly tiny diameter tubes to be produced.
Pultrusion :
Pultrusion is a method of manufacturing continuous lengths of a fiber-reinforced section by pulling continuous strands of carbon fiber through resin and a former before curing the resin all in one process.
Features
- Made of Carbon Fiber material
- High Strength
- Stable dimension and UV-resistant
- High Corrosion Resistance
- Electrical & Thermal Non-Conductivity
LIJIN’s pultruded carbon fibre CRP tubes are manufactured in a vinyl ester matrix. The advantage of pultruded carbon fibre tubes is that they are ultra-light and thin-walled with optimal strength-to-weight ratio. They give excellent hoop strength that is resistant to bending and torsional forces with a smooth surface finish.

What is a Pultruded Carbon Fiber Tube?
A pultruded carbon fiber tube is a tubular structure made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) that is created through a manufacturing process called pultrusion. This process involves pulling continuous strands of carbon fiber through a resin bath (typically epoxy or polyester resin) and then through a heated die. The heat cures the resin, bonding the carbon fibers together and forming a solid, rigid tube.
The key characteristics of pultruded carbon fiber tubes are:
- Strength and Lightweight: Carbon fiber is known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making pultruded tubes both strong and light.
- Durability: They are resistant to corrosion, fatigue, and wear, which makes them suitable for use in harsh environments.
- Customizable Shapes and Sizes: The pultrusion process allows for the creation of custom shapes, sizes, and wall thicknesses for the tubes, making them versatile for various applications.
- Stiffness: The tubes exhibit high rigidity and resistance to bending, ensuring stability under load.
- Pultruded carbon fiber tubes are used in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, construction, sports equipment, and marine applications, due to their combination of strength, low weight, and durability.
