Made from premium unidirectional (UD) and woven carbon fiber prepreg, these tubes offer outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratios—significantly surpassing metals such as aluminum and steel—while maintaining excellent dimensional stability and durability.
Our roll-wrapped carbon fiber tubes are manufactured by wrapping multiple layers of 3k twill/plain carbon fiber prepregs around a metal mold and then cured at high temperature. The UD prepregs are used in core layers, whereas the Twill/Plain is on the surface. Based on your requirement, we can also use Kevlar and glass fiber.
A high-stiffness carbon fiber tube is designed with a specialized fiber layup structure, typically incorporating a high percentage of 0° unidirectional fibers, which maximizes axial stiffness and bending resistance. These tubes maintain rigidity even under heavy loads, making them ideal for precision engineering use.
