Mechanical Characterization High Quality Custom-Made Carbon Fiber Flat Plate

Carbon fibre sheet is manufactured using multiple layers of genuine 100% carbon fibre infused with epoxy resin creating a high stiffness, high strength, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing material. All STANDARD carbon fibre sheets have a glass transition temperature of 90oC i.e. maximum use temperature.

Our Carbon fibre flat sheet can be used for door cards or to fill dash panels. The sheet is Carbon on one side and backed with Glass fibre on the other, with the Carbon side being highly polished. We can tailor the flat sheet to most requirements so if it is needed to be stronger or thinner then ask for a quotation. The standard sheet is made from plain weave carbon. Twill can be made on request.

It is real carbon fiber mixed with epoxy resin and pultruded. With constant thickness, great straightness, very high hardness, very little weight, and a very low coefficient of expansion, being an ideal material for the construction of frames, trusses and for its use as reinforcement material.

Because the flat bars are fundamental pillars, they find great utility in the construction of engineering structures and high performance and work very well in conjunction with other products of laminated carbon fiber as our tubes or plates.

The flat bars are easy to work with. They can be cut with a band saw, jigsaw, radial, milling cutter, or Dremmel. They are also simply sanded.

Being made with epoxy matrix will be able to stick easily with epoxy-based bicomponent adhesives.
Manufactured with a low percentage of resin.
