Carbon fiber pipe is made from carbon fiber twill or plain weave fabric, unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg. The material is firstly rolled with a mould of a certain diameter and length and then put into the oven of high temperature for the thermoset process. After cooling down, the tube can be peeled from the mold.

Carbon fiber poles have lightweight, high Compression strength, corrosion resistance, good toughness, chemical stability, UV resistance, low thermal conductivity, superior dimensional stability, and non-magnetic.

Roll wrapped carbon fiber tubes offer superior strength in general compared with pultrusion tubes(which have all their fibers running in exactly the same directions). They can bear all forces equally because the unidirectional fiber has wound around the diameter of the tube as well as running lengthways.
