Super Duplex Uns S32750 Pipes Tube 2507 Stainless Steel Pipe
Material to UNS S32750 is described as a super duplex stainless steel with a microstructure of 50:50 austenite and ferrite. The steel combines high mechanical strength (typically up to 570 MPa yield strength) and good ductility with outstanding corrosion resistance in marine environments. The alloy is supplied with a PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent) at >=40.0 which guarantees high resistance to pitting corrosion. In addition, the steel offers high resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Ambient and sub-zero (down to minus 50°C) notch ductility is good.

Duplex Steel Tube:
Duplex stainless steel has good welding properties, compared with ferritic stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel, it is neither like ferritic stainless steel welding heat-affected zone, due to severe coarsening of grains and plastic toughness is significantly reduced, nor like austenitic stainless steel, which is more sensitive to welding heat cracking.
