Socket Welded Cross:

A pipe having four openings in the same place at right angles to each other. The cross can not directly control the flow due to its shape. Therefore this fitting may have three inlets and one outlet or one inlet and three outlets.

There are two types of crosses one is Equal Cross another is Unequal Cross or also known as Reducing Cross.
