The PRY-8D saddle stitching line consists of a gathering machine,a saddle stitcher(with detection mechanism),a three-knife trimmer,a book collection cart,and an electrical control box.The saddle stitching line offers high speed,low cost,and reliable performance.The binding process is controlled by PLC and sensors,which detect and track defective books (missing or extra pages)and automatically sort them,ensuring a high level of automation.

Configuration

Gathering Machine

1.It has production mode selection switches for 1:1 and 1:2,as well as an empty position selection switch,which is convenient for adjustment.
2.It is equipped with safety and fault signal lights,start/stop buttons.
3.The gathering machine adopts a double gripper structure,which improves the stability of machine operation.
4.It uses multiple suction nozzles for paper feeding,ensuring the stability of booklets falling,and is suitable for booklets of different specifications.
5.A cam is used to control the air pressure and time,enabling each booklet to fall accurately
6.The gripper mechanism of the gathering machine has been improved.A groove cam torsion spring opening gripper device is adopted,making the gripper mechanism durable. Coupled with wear-resistant synthetic rubber pads,the conveying force of the gripper on the booklets is enhanced.

Graphic Detection System(optional configuration)

This system is designed to compare printed text on paper to determine if book placement is incorrect, triggering an audible and visual alarm and stopping the gathering machine or ejecting the defective book.
