The rare earth elements have a clean alloy solution to improve the alloy structure, alloy wet temperature, high temperature mechanical properties, and enhance the corrosion resistance of the alloy. The rare earth magnesium alloy has the original characteristics of magnesium alloy (low density, specific stiffness and high specific strength). Also has the following two characteristics:
1. Improve steel quality, reduce the cost and save aluminum, it is especially applied in continuous casting steel of deoxidizing requirements.
2. It can not only meet the deoxidizing requirements of steelmaking, but also have the performance of desulphurization, in addition have advantages of big specific gravity and strong penetration.
