ZHANGJIAGANG KALU is manufacturer and supplier of 7050 Aluminum Plate. 7050 aluminum plate is a high-strength heat-treatable alloy with very high strength and resistance to spalling corrosion and stress corrosion fracture. Commonly used in aircraft structural parts for medium and thick plate extruded parts, free forging parts and die forging parts. Manufacture of such parts on the alloy requirements are: resistance to spalling corrosion and stress corrosion cracking ability, fracture toughness and fatigue resistance are strong.
7050 series aluminum alloy main alloying element is zinc, to the alloy containing 3% -75% zinc add magnesium, can form a significant strengthening effect of MgZn2, so that the heat treatment effect of the alloy is far better than the aluminum-zinc binary alloy. By increasing the zinc and magnesium content of the alloy, the tensile hardness will be further improved and the resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will rise. After heat treatment, very high strength properties are achieved. The material is generally alloyed with a small amount of copper and chromium. The 7050-T7451 aluminum alloy is the best of this family and is regarded as the finest of the aluminum alloys, with high strength, far superior to that of soft steel. This alloy has good mechanical properties and anodic reaction. Mainly used in aerospace, mold processing, machinery and equipment. Work holding fixtures, especially for aircraft structures and other high-stress structures that require high strength and corrosion resistance.
