Pharmaceutical Applications: Used as solvent, co-solvent, O/W emulsifier, stabilizer for injections, ointment bases, suppository matrices, and as solid dispersion carriers for poorly soluble drugs. PEG-4000 and PEG-6000 serve as excellent coating materials, plasticizers, and capsule matrices.
Industrial Applications: Functions as lubricant, coolant, dispersant, emulsifier, antistatic agent, and viscosity adjuster across multiple sectors including textiles, paper manufacturing, rubber processing, metal working, and chemical production.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: PEG-200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500 use 200kg iron drums or 50kg plastic drums. PEG-2000, 3000, 4000, 6000, 8000 use 20kg woven bags after cutting into slices.
Storage: Store in dry, well-ventilated areas. When properly stored, shelf life is 2 years.
